Calabria: between the turquoise Tyrrhenian Sea and the wild Aspromonte mountains
Back from Calabria, this region of southern Italy leaves us with an authentic impression. This journey was a perfect balance between hilltop villages and age-old traditions, where every turn reveals a spectacular panorama.
The adventure began with the gentle charm of Tropea, the pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea, before heading down into ancient history in Reggio Calabria. The scenery then shifted to the poetic ruggedness of the Aspromonte and ghost villages like Pentedattilo.
After immersing ourselves in the culture of silk in San Floro and bergamot, we explored the canyons of Valli Cupe. Suspended between two seas in Tiriolo, we admired sunsets revealing the Aeolian Islands and Mount Etna. Finally, Calabria welcomed us with its generous cuisine, from the Tartufo of Pizzo to the cod of Mammola.
Calabria is not just visited—it is lived with passion. It is an unforgettable immersion between history and raw nature.
