🍦The International Artisan Gelato Festival arrives in Paris, just a few weeks before the 17th edition takes place in Palermo from November 7 to 10, 2025.

Tonight, at the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris, there will be a talk on gelato, hosted by journalist and professor Domenico Biscardi.

“Sherbeth”, the Turkish word from which sorbet is derived, evokes the ancient origins of this frozen treat, which found its home in Sicily.

It is Sicily, with its gelato masters and centuries-old tradition, that represents the true birthplace of artisan gelato, now recognized as a gastronomic excellence and an identity symbol of Italian culture.
